Bristol Dojo Ltd and Imperial Karate Club in association with Kachi-Do would like to invite you to attend the 5th South West Open Championships to be held on November 9th 2008 at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Hutton moor road, Weston-super-Mare, England. BS22 8LY. south_west_open_nov_08_entry

Again we have brand new performance Tatami’s and also the latest electronic scoreboards from Italy on each of the 5 areas. To ensure the event runs smoothly and safely and also fully complies with WKF rules in both Kumite and Kata we have managed to secure the services of Mr Vince Parker European Kumite “A” and Kata Judge “A” Referee and his team of nationally qualified referee’s. We will also continue to support the newly added categories including Kata pairs where any two club members can compete as a team and again by popular demand the parent & child Kata pairs. There will also be the Veteran categories and also the Special needs category as seen last time. If you have any Special needs students please encourage them to compete to help get the message across that Karate is accessible to all.
